Janice and Corny wanted to document their first wedding anniversary at White Sands National Park, so we did. These two define a fun, adventurous couple in love, and this is everything I hope for when I photograph couples. I wish for genuine joy, love, and laughter. And that explains these two to a T. We had a fun day of road tripping to White Sands National Park and back in one day. I wanted this session to feel like THEM and I think it encompasses them perfectly, from the serious and the goofy to the running around the dunes playing tag and laying down and just soaking up each other’s presence. What you would never know is how much sand was blowing all around them and into their eyes, but that didn’t stop them from having a great time anyway. They laughed and giggled the whole time they were laying there letting sand blow into their eyes because they trusted my vision.

Thank you Janice and Corny for allowing me capture this season for y’all. For always trusting my ideas, even if they seem a bit odd, and they really do sometimes. You both are such a joy to be around and I look forward to capturing many more of your big life moments over the years.
